JR-15
"Hero Image" of the JR-15

Description
The JR-15 is a Nerf gun I made using a 3D modeling software called Fusion 360. I designed the creation in the hope of 3D printing the design piece by piece and creating the gun from scratch so that I could add it to my little cousin's collection. I made the design based on the AR-L from Fortnite, one of the video games he loves playing on the PlayStation with me.
Components Created for JR-15
I had to create the body of the JR-15 spline tool using Fusion 360 because it allows you to trace irregular shapes and use them accordingly. Once the body was made, I divided the barrel into three pieces that would join together once the project was complete. I used a midplane to create both the trigger and the clip, which gave me the most difficulty. I also added a pivot joint to the trigger to simulate the gun firing without ammo. For the buttons and aim, I made them based on their respective design and extruded them to jump off the page.
